Transition Support from CAD to BIM : Offshore and Onshore

For any change to take place, the willingness to accept the same is necessary. At The AEC Associates, we believe that this acceptance is neither universal now available off-the-shelf, and a change in the process requires a substantial amount of time and effort on behalf of the team that is accustomed to, and comfortable with, working in a certain manner. When it comes to the transition from CAD to BIM, in particular, the task gets all the more difficult. At The AEC Associates, we provide support for change by focusing a person or team in the transition of thought processes, workflows and systems from CAD to BIM.

Transition Support from CAD to BIM Offshore and Onshore

Talking specifically about offshore support, our team works remotely with a dedicated coordinator or team at the client’s end, while onshore support refers to a member of the team working from the client’s office to expedite the process. What usually happens is that the transition begins with the client’s coordinator visiting our office, which is followed by offshore support being offered for a specific period of time, concluded with onshore support towards the end of the tenure.
